YOUR Invitation to Participate in the Blasian Book Fair

I hope this message finds you well. We are excited to announce the upcoming Blasian

Book Fair, an event dedicated to celebrating and amplifying the voices of Black, Asian,

and Blasian authors. This event will take place on Saturday, September 14th, from 1

PM to 5 PM at A Perfect Union Art Gallery in the West Oaks Mall.

The organizers would be honored to have you participate in this event. The Blasian

Book Fair aims to provide free books to the community, featuring all genres and age

groups, to build Black-Asian solidarity through shared storytelling. This is a wonderful

opportunity for you to connect with the local community and share your work.

1. **Book Display and Distribution:** We are open to a 1 hour - 30 minute time slot to share information about your book and display/give out copies.

2. **Kids' Corner Reading:** If your book is appropriate for children, we would love for you to read an excerpt in our kids' corner.

3. **Other Ideas:** We are open to any other ideas you may have for engaging with the community during the event.

If you are able to donate books for free distribution, it would be greatly appreciated. Blasian March and Make Us Visible Florida, the initiators of this event, are currently fundraising and, if possible, would like to purchase books directly from you to distribute at the event, but cannot do so at this time. We hope to know closer to the event.

Please let us know by August 1st if you are interested in participating. We believe your presence would greatly enrich the event and contribute to the goal of fostering solidarity and understanding between marginalized communities. FusionFest is partnering with Blasian March and Make Us Visible Florida for this event.
