- To inspire writers, poets, aspiring and published authors to bring forth their messages.
- To inspire writers to perfect their craft through public speaking.
- To coach members through writers’ retreats and workshops.
- To showcase published authors through promotions, including competitions, book signings,
and presentations.
- To assist authors to navigate the pathway to publishing their works.
- To create space for people to tell their truths.
- To encourage writing as part of individual, family, and community legacy.

The Blasian Book Fair aims to provide free books to the community, featuring all genres and age groups, to build Black-Asian solidarity through shared storytelling. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to connect with the local community and share your work.

Empowering Good
Mrs. Charise Liburd, Dr. Ruth Baskerville, and Dr. Free Harris received the prestigious Empowering Good certification! This consisted of a breakfast celebration for Cohort 3 with the Empowering Good Capacity Building Project which took place over the last six months. This was presented by Orange County Government, Crummer Rollins, and the Edyth Bush Institute.
